Meet Karen Speerstra
Karen Speerstra spent nearly twenty years in book publishing before she and her husband John moved to central Vermont where she now has the luxury of writing (and gardening) again. She continues to work with selected author-clients to help them realize their publishing dreams through her editing and coaching consulting service, Sophia Serve.
Besides Divine Sparks: Collected Wisdom of the Heart, Karen recently co-authored with her son, Joel, Hunab Ku: 77 Sacred Symbols for Balancing Body and Spirit and collaborated with several others to write Our Day to End Poverty: 24 Ways You Can Make a Difference. Her young adult book on early Indians, The Earthshapers is also still available.
